The structure of the Magistrates' Court consists of:
  • Criminal Section
  • Civil Section
  • Road Traffic Section
  • Registrars and Notarial Services


Main Duties


The main duties of the Magistrates’ Court are to hear cases (Criminal and Civil) and hand down judgments and sentences/orders

Magistracy



The Magistrates’ Court is headed by the Honourable Chief Magistrate Pengiran Hajah Norismayanti binti Pengiran Haji Ismail (sitting, 2nd left) and is assisted by the following Judicial Officers:
  • Harnita Zelda Skinner, Senior Registrar of the Supreme Court (sitting, 2nd right)
  • Hajah Azrimah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, Senior Magistrate (sitting, 1st right)
  • Dewi Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid, Senior Magistrate (sitting, 1st left)
  • Muhammad Qamarul Affiyan bin Abdul Rahman, Magistrate (standing, 3rd left)
