The Magistrates' Court is introducing the 'Statement of Admission' form as part of its continuous effort to enhance access to justice. Defendants to a civil claim in the Magistrates' Court can file the said form with the Civil Section of the Magistrates' Court if they intend to admit to the claim against them.
The statement of admission can be downloaded at the 'downloadable forms' tab in the Judiciary website. Any queries can be made to the Civil Section of the Magistrates' Court at the Ground Floor, Law and Court Building, or at +673 2232979 ext 133/155 during officer hours or email at bsbsubordinatecourt.civil@judicial.gov.bn.
This statement of admission can be used with effect from 12th December 2022.
