OFFICIAL RECEIVER'S CHAMBERS

The Official Receiver’s Chamber acts as the administrator and/or trustee for a judgment debtor and bankrupts’ estates as well as managing the financial affairs of wound-up companies. The Office is headed by the Official Receiver and assisted by Deputy Official Receivers and Assistant Official Receivers.

OFFICIAL RECEIVER (OR) AND DEPUTY OFFICIAL RECEIVER (DOR)

 The main duties of the DORs are to hold creditors’ meetings, manage the Official Receiver’s accounts, and declare payment of composition and dividends on a regular basis. The creditors’ meetings consist of the creditor(s) and the judgment debtor with the purpose of investigating the conduct and financial affairs of the judgment debtor.
